Čeladná is a picturesque village in the heart of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. It is surrounded by the peaks of Ondřejník, Smrk, Malá and Velká Stolová, and Lysá hora. The history of the village probably dates back to the 15th century, but the first written mention of it comes from 1581, when it is mentioned in the land register of the Hukvaldy estate. According to legend, the name of the village comes from the word “čeládka” – meaning servants who came to Hukvaldy.


Čeladná 249 is a place with more than a century of history, which has always been associated with hospitality, good food, and drink. The original building from 1908 underwent extensive reconstruction and was reopened in December 2016. Today, the restaurant and hotel offer traditional Czech cuisine in a cozy and pleasant environment.
